An Armed man arrested after entering of Queen Elizabeth’s Castle

A gunman has been arrested for assaulting the grounds of Windsor Castle, where Elizabeth went to spend Christmas.

It was reported that a person had broken into the grounds of Windsor Castle, where Elizabeth went to spend Christmas this year.

The police stated that the suspect was arrested on charges of trespassing in the forbidden area and possession of an “assault weapon” on him, and that the person did not enter any building and members of the royal family were informed of the incident.

Thames Valley Police Rebecca Mears said: “We are working with colleagues from the Metropolitan Police.

We confirm that the security systems were activated when the man entered the land and did not enter any of the buildings. He added, “We do not believe that there is a danger to the public.”

It was learned that the 19-year-old suspect from Southampton entered the castle grounds without permission at 8:30 am local time.
