On Wednesday, the Turkish Humanitarian Relief Agency (İHH) announced the distribution of food aid to Afghan families in need.

In his speech, the agency’s coordinator in Afghanistan, Mujahid Kilch, said that they have provided food parcels to 750 needy families in Parwan province, north of the capital, Kabul.
He added that the aid comes within the framework of supporting the brotherly Afghan people to overcome the food crisis that is afflicting the country.
He pointed out that there are nearly 23 million malnourished people in Afghanistan, according to UN reports.

Kılç stressed that Turkey will continue to provide a helping hand and assistance to all those in need in the troubled country.
