About 200 million passengers use Turkey’s airports in 11 months

Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Oraloglu announced the provision of services to about 200 million passengers at the country’s airports during the past 11 months of this year.

This came in a written statement by the Minister on Wednesday, commenting on the statistics of flights, passengers, and air cargo movement announced by the General Directorate of Airport Operations in Turkey.

The minister pointed out that about 199 million 866 thousand and 627 people traveled by air through Turkey’s airports during the past 11 months of this year.

He explained that the number of internal travelers during the aforementioned period amounted to 84 million, 400,323, and 115 million, 247,821 external passengers, in addition to 218,000 via transit flights.
