A trained dogs to detect coronavirus in the United States

In Boston, USA, police dogs trained to detect the smell of people infected with the Coronavirus will work in some schools.

According to US media reports, two Labrador and Golden Lab dogs were trained by the Institute of Forensic Sciences to detect the smell of the virus.

Captain Paul Douglas of the Bristol Police Department said dogs can detect all types of virus including Omicron and Delta.

Fairhaven Principal Tara Koehler said the presence of dogs at the school would make students feel safe, while at the same time showing that the administration was doing everything it could to reduce the risk of an epidemic.

It has been announced that the two dogs will serve in Bristol-area Freetown, Lakeville and Norton schools.
