A contact from Germany to the European Union to help Poland

German Interior Minister Horst Seehofer has called on the European Commission to help Poland with the migrant crisis at the Belarusian border to protect the bloc’s external borders.

In his statement, Seehofer assessed that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, with the support of Russian President Vladimir Putin, wants to destabilize the West by using people.

Seehofer pointed out that all EU countries should be united for this reason, and said: “We need the help of the Polish government to protect the external borders.

This is in fact the mission of the EU Commission and now I am calling on the EU Commission to take action.”

Seehofer stressed that Germany and Poland cannot overcome this situation alone.

Noting that Poland will not be criticized for protecting the external borders of the European Union by appropriate means, Seehofer stressed that Poland has acted correctly so far.
