Speaking to the Turkish parliament on Tuesday evening, Cavusoglu said that the last meeting of the UN Security Council had no way to condemn the Zionist violence against the Palestinians because the United States opposed it.

According to the Daily Sabah newspaper, the Turkish foreign minister said, “The reaction of the international community [to the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip] has been weak again.”

The Turkish foreign minister added, “The international community called on both sides to [cease fire], as if a war broke out between the Palestinian and Israeli armies in Gaza!

Some consider the security of Israel above all.

They have turned a blind eye to war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. “

According to the report, Cavusoglu stressed Turkey’s unity and solidarity with the Palestinians and said that the Turkish people want the freedom of the oppressed people in Palestine and anywhere in the world.

“Ankara will not give up its support for the Palestinian cause … We are closely monitoring the deteriorating humanitarian situation in [the Gaza Strip] in the wake of the reckless Israeli attacks,” he said.

Clashes erupted between the Palestinian resistance and the Israeli regime last Monday, after the Israeli aggression on Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

According to the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, the number of victims of the brutal Zionist attacks reached 221 martyrs, including 62 children and 36 women.

More than 1,400 Palestinians have been injured so far.

Earlier, Turkey’s envoy to the United Nations, Cavusoglu, called for a global mechanism to prevent Israel from continuing its attacks, acknowledging the Security Council’s inability to issue a statement condemning the attacks on the Gaza Strip.
