Those who want to get out of the city before the “complete lockdown” that will start today and continue until May 17 has caused a traffic jam in Istanbul.

Traffic has started in the direction of Ankara on the July 15 Martyrs Bridge and the Sultan Mehmed Fatih Bridge.
On the Anatolian side towards the TEM highway in Ankara, traffic increased between Atasehir and Sultanbeyli.
As on the D-100 highway towards Ankara, traffic increased in some areas between Maltepe, Kartal, Bedek and Tuzla.
On the European side of the TEM highway, traffic is observed in some areas between Kağıthane and Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge.
According to IMM’s mobile app, traffic density was measured at 47 percent as of 08.20.
