The arrival of a Turkish plane carrying Palestinian patients

A plane carrying a number of Palestinian patients and their companions arrived in the Turkish capital, Ankara, on Monday after their removal from the Gaza Strip to Egypt.

A Turkish Ministry of Defense A400M plane took off from Egypt’s Al-Arish Airport, carrying 75 patients and 74 companions.

The plane landed at Atismgut Military Airport in the capital, Ankara, at 16:00 local time in Turkey (UTG+3).

The patients were transported via ambulances to the medical cities of Bilkent and Atlik, and some of them to Yeni Mahalla Hospital in Ankara.

This morning, the plane belonging to the Turkish Ministry of Defense headed to the Egyptian Al-Arish Airport carrying medicines estimated at 2,200 kilograms, in addition to a medical team consisting of 11 people.

A new batch of Palestinian patients is expected to arrive in Turkey in the coming hours.
