In the Turkish state of Malatya, 40 percent of the infrastructure for the city of prefabricated houses for the victims of the devastating earthquake that struck the south of the country has been completed.
On Saturday, the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Teams “AFAD” continued the city’s construction work on a total area of 190,000 square meters.
A total of 2,100 homes will be erected in the city, each of which has an area of 21 square meters and is equipped with basic facilities such as toilet, bathroom and heating.

The teams started installing the houses in the places where the infrastructure work was completed.
It is expected that 10,500 people will be housed in the city after the completion of the works as soon as possible.
