The ambassadors of the European Union agreed to set a ceiling on the prices of Russian oil products.
The Swedish Presidency of the Council of the European Union said in a tweet on Friday evening that the ambassadors of the Union “agreed today to set a ceiling for oil products prices before their final adoption by the Council of the European Union.”
The Swedish presidency described the agreement as “important as part of the ongoing response of the European Union and its partners to Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine.”
