Erdogan opens the largest “Rami” library in Turkey

On Friday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan inaugurated the Rami Library, which is the largest in Turkey and is located in Istanbul.

In a speech during the opening ceremony, Erdogan said that the “Rami” library is not just a library, but was designed as a cultural center where many events can be held.

Erdogan explained that the library will receive readers 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

He added, “We are approaching, step by step, towards our goal of opening 100 new libraries with the advent of the centenary of our republic.”
