Turkish Energy and Resources Minister Fatih Dönmez will participate Wednesday in the Algiers Investment Conference.

The Turkish Ministry said in a statement that Dönmez will go to Algiers to attend the conference, which will be held later in the day.
On the sidelines of the conference, Dönmez will meet with his Algerian counterpart Mohamed Arkab and discuss with him ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the field of energy.
It is expected that the Turkish minister will deliver a speech during the conference, in which he will discuss opportunities for cooperation between Ankara and Algeria.

Dönmez is also expected to meet Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on Thursday and a number of Turkish businessmen working in Algeria.
