This came in a statement made by the minister during his visit, accompanied by the army commanders, to the command of the 3rd Infantry Division located in the state of Hakkari on the Iraqi border in the southeast of the country.

Akar said that ships departing from Ukrainian ports have shipped about 9.7 million tons of grain since the signing of the grain initiative document on July 22.

He stated that Russia had suspended its participation in the agreement after an attack on its fleet in the port of Sevastopol last Saturday, adding that Turkey’s intensive diplomatic efforts had yielded the results of Russia’s return to the agreement.
