The Investment Office of the Turkish Presidency expects that the volume of bilateral trade between Turkey and Switzerland will reach 5 billion dollars by the end of this year.

According to a statement issued by the office, Istanbul hosted a meeting in cooperation between the Federation of Swiss Chambers of Commerce, the Swiss Embassy in Ankara and the Turkish Investment Office.
The head of the Turkish presidency’s investment office, Ahmet Burak Daglioğlu, said that Turkey has a strong, robust and rapidly growing economy.
He explained that Turkey is pursuing investor-friendly policies with the aim of attracting more international direct investment.
The statement said that the good bilateral relations between Turkey and Switzerland are also reflected in the volume of trade between the two countries, which is constantly increasing.

The statement pointed out that Turkey ranks 24th in the list of Switzerland’s trading partners, noting that the trade volume reached 4.6 billion dollars in 2021.
He added that an increase in the volume of trade is expected in the coming period and that it is expected to reach $5 billion by the end of this year.
