Under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, Istanbul will host the “Saha Expo 2022” exhibition for defense and aviation from October 25-28.

The Secretary-General of the Exhibition Center, Elhami Kalash, said in a press statement on Wednesday that the “Saha Expo” is being held under the auspices of the Turkish Presidency and the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defense, Industry and Technology.
He added that the exhibition aims to bring together about a thousand companies from 50 countries and showcase the potential of local production and independent production strength in Turkey.
Kalash stated that the exhibition will be open on the last day only to citizens over the age of eighteen.
He pointed out that the exhibition was held during the past two years in the virtual environment due to the Corona pandemic, with the participation of about 600 participants and exhibitors, and in the presence of more than 120,000 visitors, including 27,000 foreigners.

He pointed out that the exhibition makes great contributions to the defense industries sector and provides an opportunity to sign many international agreements and to get to know each other between companies.
It will also be an important step in the path of transferring the strength of Turkish defense industries to the world.
