Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan left New York City for his country after participating in the 77th United Nations General Assembly.

The presidential plane carrying Erdogan left John F. Kennedy International Airport at half past six in the morning, Turkish local time (3+ GMT).
Erdogan was seen off at the airport by Ankara’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Feridun Sinirlioglu, the Turkish ambassador to Washington, Hasan Murat Morcan, and other officials.

Erdogan is accompanied by ministers; Finance Noureddin Nebti, Defense Hulusi Akar and Commerce Mehmet Muş in addition to intelligence chief Hakan Fidan, head of the Communications Department Fahrettin Altun, presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin, head of the Defense Industries Authority Ismail Demir and other officials from the government and the ruling Justice and Development Party.
