On Sunday, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the martyrdom of two soldiers and the wounding of four others in clashes with PKK terrorists in northern Iraq.

The ministry said in a statement that the clashes took place during combing operations in the area of Operation Claw – Lock.
She noted that the injured soldiers were immediately taken to a hospital for treatment.
The ministry expressed its deep sorrow for the martyrdom of the two soldiers and asked God for mercy.

The ministry offered its condolences to the families of the two martyrs, the Turkish armed forces and the people, and wished a speedy recovery to the wounded.
At the end of the statement, she drew attention to the continuation of operations in the region.
On April 18, Turkey launched the “claw-lock” operation against the strongholds of the “PKK” terrorist organization in the areas of Matina, Zab and Afshin-Basian in northern Iraq.
