The Izmir Coast Guard Command said in a statement that its teams rescued 130 irregular migrants off the coast of the “Karahburun” and “Dikli” regions.
The Mugla Coast Guard Command said in a statement that its teams rescued two migrants off the coast of the “Bodrum” region.
The two leaderships indicated that the Greek authorities forced the 132 migrants to return to Turkish territorial waters.
In the same context, the gendarmerie command in Mugla said in a statement that it had arrested 72 migrants in the forests of the “Sidi Kemer” region, who hold Bengali, Pakistani and Afghan nationalities.

The Turkish authorities referred the 204 migrants to the migration directorates in the two states to complete the necessary procedures against them.
