Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met Malaysian Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaqoub in the capital, Kuala Lumpur.

This came ahead of the upcoming press conference with his Malaysian counterpart Saifuddin Abdullah on Thursday.
“I met our strategic partner, Malaysian Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaqoub,” Çavuşoğlu said in a tweet on Twitter.
He indicated that they discussed the decisions taken between the two countries during their meeting last month.

Çavuşoğlu also met with Malaysian Defense Minister Hishammuddin Hussein, and they discussed the steps that will be taken in the coming period in order to enhance bilateral cooperation in the field of defense industries.
