Turkey: 25 YPG terrorists neutralized in northern Syria

The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the neutralization of 25 PKK/YPG terrorists in northern Syria.

The ministry said in a statement on Wednesday that “the blood of our martyrs has not been and will not be in vain.”

She pointed out that “the heroic commando forces neutralized 25 PKK/YPG terrorists in the Euphrates Shield and Peace Spring operations areas with repulsion and punishment bullets.”

The statement stressed that Turkey would continue to “bury the terrorists in the trenches they dug.”

The YPG represents the Syrian arm of the PKK organization, which is active in other countries in the region, including Iraq and Iran.

Earlier on Wednesday, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the martyrdom of two soldiers in an attack by ISIS terrorists on a military point in the “Euphrates Shield” area.

Turkish forces, in cooperation with the Syrian National Army, carried out several operations in northern Syria against ISIS and PKK/YPG.

Through these operations, it cleared thousands of kilometers of land from terrorists and provided the opportunity for thousands of Syrians to return safely to their lands.
