Turkish Airlines started its flights to the historic city of Bukhara in the Republic of Uzbekistan on Tuesday.
The Turkish Airlines plane “Airbus A321neo” landed today at the city’s airport, where it was received by airport officials.

Bukhara is the 399th destination for Turkish Airlines.
During the reception of the plane, Ankara’s ambassador to Tashkent, Olgan Bikar, said that Turkish Airlines’ operation between Istanbul and Bukhara is a reflection of the good relations between the two countries.
He added that Turkish Airlines operates flights to 5 points in Uzbekistan and that these flights will contribute to strengthening relations between the two parties.

For his part, the company’s marketing director, Mahmoud Yayla, expressed his happiness to start flights between Istanbul and Bukhara, indicating that the company will organize two weekly flights between the two cities on Tuesday and Friday.
