Tomorrow, Thursday, the third meeting of the Turkish National Security Council, chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, will be held at the Presidential Complex in the capital, Ankara.

The meeting is scheduled to discuss the file of Sweden and Finland’s accession to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization “NATO”, as well as the ongoing “claw-lock” operation in northern Iraq.
During the meeting, it is expected that the new military operations outside Turkey’s borders will be discussed and the work being carried out to establish a safe zone on the southern border.
The meeting will also discuss Greece’s armaments activities, the latest developments in the Aegean Sea and the eastern Mediterranean, and other regional and international issues.

It is also expected that the Russian-Ukrainian war will be high on the meeting’s agenda.
