Turkish Relief: Ramadan aid reached 135,000 people in Syria

The Turkish Humanitarian Relief Agency “IHH” announced that 135,000 people in Syria benefited from Ramadan parcels that were distributed with the contribution of donors.

The authority’s media official, Salim Toson, said in a statement on Saturday that relief activities are continuing in Syria under the slogan, “Long live Ramadan.”

Toson pointed out that the war-affected Syrian families are experiencing the joy of Ramadan, as they struggle to live in deteriorating conditions.

He explained that the aid parcels distributed by the authority on the occasion of the month of Ramadan include foodstuffs such as legumes, sugar and vegetable oil.

He pointed out that 22,656 parcels were distributed in Idlib, Afrin, Azaz, Jarablus, Ras al-Ain and Tal Abyad, benefiting 135,000 people.
