On Saturday, Ukraine announced the return of 26 citizens as part of a prisoner exchange with the Russian side.
In a statement, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Irina Verychuk indicated that a third prisoner exchange with Russia was carried out on the instructions of President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Vereshuk said that the Russian side released 26 Ukrainians, 12 soldiers and 14 civilians.
The official did not give details of what Ukraine provided to the Russian side in return for these.
