Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu discussed with his Bangladeshi counterpart Abul Kalam Abdul Momen bilateral relations between the two countries.

This came during their meeting on Sunday in the capital, Ankara, according to Çavuşoğlu’s tweet on Twitter.
Çavuşoğlu said in his tweet: “Today we hosted the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh, Abdul Momen, who will inaugurate a statue tomorrow.
It was made for Bangladesh’s founding president, Bangabandhu, Sheikh Musipur Rahman, in Ankara and the park that will bear his name.”

He added that he evaluated with his Bangladeshi counterpart bilateral relations and opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.
