On Sunday, the head of the communications department in the Turkish presidency, Fahrettin Altun, criticized the inhumane treatment of the Greek coast guard with migrants and the silence of the West over it.

On his account on a social networking site, Altun posted a video clip showing the Greek coast guard trying to sink a boat carrying irregular migrants.
He said: “The miserable picture of Greece’s refugee policy, there is no mind and no conscience…
Unfortunately, the Western world and the European Union are silent about this Greek position, it is a shameful sight for humanity.”
