Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu discussed with the head of the Libyan High Council of State Khaled Al-Mashri the current political situation and recent developments in Libya.
This came during a meeting between Turkish and Libyan officials on Wednesday in the Turkish capital, Ankara.

In a tweet he posted on Twitter, Çavuşoğlu said that he had hosted Al-Mashri in Turkey last September.
He added, “We talked about the current political situation and recent developments, and our only hope is for stability, prosperity, and peace to prevail in Libya.”
The Minister stressed that Turkey continues to support its Libyan brothers based on that goal.
