Turkey has expressed its expectations that tourism revenues next year will exceed 30 billion dollars.
This was stated in the report of the Turkish presidential program for 2022, which was published in the Official Gazette on Wednesday.
The report indicated that the number of tourists between January and August of this year amounted to 14.1 million people, recording an increase of 93.3 percent compared to the same period in 2020.
He pointed out that the increase in the number of tourists is expected to reach 82.2 percent by the end of this year, with 23.2 million people, and revenues of $22 billion.
He also expected tourism revenues to reach $30.4 billion next year, and the total number of foreign tourists to reach 32.3 million.
