Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced a package of facilities and aid to support those affected by the torrential rains in the northern states of Kastamonu, Sinop, and Barten.

In a tweet on Twitter on Friday, Erdogan indicated that he had announced earlier today several regions in those provinces as “disaster areas” due to the floods.
“We cannot return the victims of the floods, but we have the ability, strength, and determination to compensate for all losses and damages, and we will continue to work for our people,” Erdogan said.
He pointed out the continuation of rescue work in flood areas with 5 thousand and 88 people, 19 helicopters and drones, 701 cars, 66 ambulances, 41 medical research teams, 542 work mechanisms, and 14 water tankers.
He revealed the implementation of a package of facilities in the stricken areas to support those affected.

Such as postponing the payment of taxes and debts, compensating material losses, and preparing an urgent support package for affected small and medium-sized enterprises.
And areas in the western Black Sea region (northern Turkey) were hit by heavy rains, which caused floods in the states of Barton, Kastamonu, and Sinop.
And the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) announced earlier on Friday that the number of victims of torrential rains in three northern states of the country had risen to 31.
