The volume of seafood exports in Turkey in the first half of this year amounted to 125 thousand tons.
According to the statement of the Aegean Exporters’ Unions, seafood exports in the first half of the year increased by 7 percent compared to the same period last year, with revenues amounting to $828 million.
As for seafood revenues in the first half of last year, they amounted to $760 million.
The volume of seafood exports in 2022 reached one billion and 650 million dollars, and Turkey aims to raise the volume of its exports to 1.8 billion dollars in 2023 and to 2 billion dollars in 2024.
