On Saturday, health authorities in Afghanistan announced that at least 11 people were killed and 39 others wounded in clashes between the Taliban movement and government forces in the northern province of Kunduz.

The local Tolo News channel quoted Ehsanullah Fazli, head of the Directorate of Public Health in Kunduz, as saying that at least 11 people were killed.
While 39 others were injured as a result of the clashes taking place in the state, Fadli added that the clashes started in the city on Friday evening.
