Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz spoke about Britain, Canada, and Australia, which issued a statement regarding their decision to recognize Palestine as a state.
Yilmaz said, “By recognizing the State of Palestine, Britain, Canada, and Australia have stood on the right side of history and taken an important step toward human values.”
Adding that it is necessary to respond more effectively as a coalition of humanity to the genocide perpetrated by the administration and its practices that trample on human values and international law, Yilmaz noted in his statement:
The recognition of the State of Palestine by more countries will be a strong response to attempts to destroy the two-state solution through occupation and ethnic cleansing.
Under the leadership of our President, the Republic of Turkey will continue to loudly defend international law, justice, diplomacy, human values, and the just cause of the oppressed Palestinian people.
