Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that his government expects the country’s national income to rise to $1 trillion and 331 billion by the end of 2024.
This came during his participation in an economic event in Istanbul.
Erdogan added that the per capita national income will rise to $15,551 by the end of this year.
He pointed out that the Turkish economy has continued to grow uninterrupted for 17 quarters.
The Turkish president confirmed that the budget deficit will decrease to 3.1 percent of the total national income by the end of 2025.

He added: “We will provide strong support to reduce inflation through fiscal policies.”
He added: “The people’s prosperity and sparing them from living difficulties are at the top of our priorities. We have never and will never make concessions on this issue.”
On the other hand, Erdogan said that the issue of immigration is one of the most sensitive issues today, not only for countries on the transit route such as Turkey, but for the entire world.
“We will maintain the security of our borders and will fortify them with additional measures,” he added.
