On Tuesday evening, video talks began between US Presidents Joe Biden and Russian Vladimir Putin to discuss the crisis on the Russian-Ukrainian border.

This is the first meeting between the two presidents since their personal meeting in Geneva in June of this year.
The White House said talks between the two leaders kicked off at 10:07 a.m. (local time) in a video meeting that is expected to be extremely important amid rising tensions between Russia and Ukraine.
The United States has previously warned of imposing severe sanctions on Russia if it invades Ukraine after massing tens of thousands of its forces on the latter’s borders.
