The United Nations noted that the continued displacement in Gaza is a result of Israeli demands for evacuation. The statement included the following: “More than 97,000 people have been displaced in Gaza in the past four days. Humanitarian assistance should never be used to affect the movement of people.”

The statement indicated that the International Organization for Migration, in cooperation with its partners, is ready to assist displaced communities in Gaza. It stated, “A ceasefire must be reached immediately. We need full, safe, and sustainable access to work.”

After the ceasefire in the Strip went into effect on January 19, Palestinian resistance forces resumed violent attacks on the morning of March 18.

Since the Israeli army resumed its attacks, 3,340 Palestinians have lost their lives, most of them elderly, women, and children, and 9,357 have been injured.

The number of Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 53,475, and the number of wounded has risen to 121,398.

The Israeli military has also begun implementing an offensive plan aimed at expanding its occupation of the Gaza Strip and making it permanent. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that they will occupy the entire Gaza Strip.

According to the plan, the Israeli military will permanently occupy the Gaza Strip, and Palestinians will be deported to “concentration camps” in southern Gaza.

Israel will provide humanitarian aid to the Palestinians in the concentration camps “so they can survive.”

Israeli ministers have announced that they plan to destroy everything that remains intact in the Gaza Strip and expel the Palestinians first to the south and from there to other countries.
