Turkish provinces with the highest number of exports

The Ministry of Trade announced the export data by provinces for the month of July, where Istanbul became the province that achieved the highest exports in July with a value of 6 billion 586 million dollars, while 51 provinces increased their exports in the period from January to July, 20 provinces exceeded one billion dollars.

The provinces with the highest exports were determined, and accordingly, Istanbul became the province that achieved the highest exports in July with a value of 6 billion 586 million dollars, and the city’s exports increased by 53.8 percent compared to the same month last year.

Istanbul was followed by Kocaeli with $2 billion 296 million, down 2.5 percent, and Izmir with $1 billion 808 million, up 1.05 percent.

The precious and semi-precious stones section ranked first in Istanbul’s exports with $958 million 731 thousand, followed by boilers and machinery with $635 million 97 thousand, then knitted clothing and accessories with $624 million 801 thousand.

Land vehicles became the sector with the highest exports in Kocaeli with $768 million 901 thousand, followed by mineral fuels, mineral oils with $235 million 231 thousand, and iron and steel with $176 million 756 thousand.

Mineral fuels and mineral oils ranked first in Izmir’s exports with $255 million 191 thousand, followed by boilers and machinery with $174 million 947 thousand, then iron and steel with $167 million 895 thousand.

England ranked first in Istanbul’s exports with $567 million 246 thousand, followed by Germany with $483 million 116 thousand and the United States with $394 million 513 thousand.

Kocaeli exported the largest amount to England with $241 million 843 thousand, followed by Slovenia with $149 million 524 thousand and Germany with $136 million 9 thousand.

The country to which Izmir exported the largest amount of its exports was Germany with $198 million 693 thousand, followed by the United States with $178 million 167 thousand and the Netherlands with $123 million 456 thousand.

Accordingly, 20 provinces exported more than $1 billion in the period from January to July, and 51 provinces increased their exports.
