
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met on Monday with his Iraqi and Gambian counterparts, Fuad Hussein and Serin Modou Njie, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
This came on the sidelines of the 21st Extraordinary Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) (57 countries), according to a statement from the Turkish Foreign Ministry on the Turkish NSosyal platform.
The statement stated that Fidan met with the Iraqi and Gambian foreign ministers, but did not disclose the content of the meetings.
Earlier Monday, a meeting of OIC ministers was held in Jeddah, chaired by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, the current president of the Council, to consider the developments of the genocide being committed by Israel in the Gaza Strip.
