Turkish economy grew by 2.5 percent in the second quarter of 2024

The Turkish economy grew by 2.5 percent in the second quarter of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023.

This came according to the announcement by the Turkish Statistical Institute on Monday of the gross domestic product data for the second quarter of the period from April to June 2024.

The authority stated that the Turkish economy achieved growth for 16 consecutive quarters after the second quarter of 2020 following recovery from the repercussions of the Corona pandemic.
