For the Turkish Automobile Group Companies (TOGG) Gemlik facility which started on July 18, 2020.
Construction is progressing within the plan, and the plant is expected to be ready for production by the end of next year.

According to the statement issued by TOGG, construction work on the TOGG Gemlik facility, which is defined as “more than a factory” with its smart and ecological characteristics, has completed its first year.
At the end of the year, the company commenced construction with the improvement of the ground and the powdering process began, and roofing work for the entire facility is scheduled to be completed by the end of September.
During the one-year construction period, basic reinforcement work for the purification, assembly, power, paint, body, inlet, and battery units was completed.
The superstructure work has begun, and with production and assembly lines set up at the TOGG Gemlik facility where long-term equipment orders are placed, it aims to bring the first serial car off the line in the last quarter of 2022.
When the production capacity of the facility reaches 175,000 units per year, 4,300 people will be employed.

All core iron and concrete production operations were completed in one year at the TOGG Gemlik facility.
Forty percent of the steel column fabrication and 17 percent of the structural steel fabrication have been completed.
While the core iron and concrete construction of the structure facility has been completed, 95 percent of progress has been made in the fabrication of prefabricated columns and 22 percent in the fabrication of structural steel.
At the assembly facility, 97 percent of the base iron production and 90 percent of the base concrete production have been completed.

In addition to 47 percent of the production of prefabricated columns and all sub-pillar insulation in the power plant, primary iron and concrete production has been completed.
