Turkish Airlines announced on Wednesday that it will resume flights to the Syrian capital Damascus on January 23.
In a post on the “X” platform, Turkish Airlines General Manager Bilal Ekşi said that the company is returning to organizing flights to Damascus.
Ekşi explained that the company will organize 3 flights per week to Damascus starting from January 23 after an interruption for years.
According to information on the company’s website, flights to Damascus will be organized on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays from Istanbul Airport at 09:00 local time (+3 GMT).
The information also showed that flights from Damascus to Istanbul will be on the same days at 13:00.
