Turkey’s Marwa Tüngel won the gold medal in the 400m freestyle at the Junior World Championships in Peru.

A statement issued by the Turkish Swimming Federation on Saturday said that Marwa Tuncel became the world junior champion with a time of 4.10.29 minutes in the 400-meter freestyle at the championships in Lima, the capital of Peru.
