
The Turkish National Security Council affirmed on Thursday Ankara’s continued strong support for the Syrian government’s efforts to ensure stability throughout the country.
This came in a statement issued by the National Security Council following the conclusion of a meeting held on Thursday at the Turkish Presidential Complex, chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The statement explained that the meeting discussed recent developments in Syria and, in this context, stressed the need for international parties to fulfill their responsibilities in eliminating the risks arising from Israeli policies.
The statement added that Turkey will continue to contribute to establishing international peace through peace diplomacy.
