Turkey’s exports of high-tech products reached $4.1 billion in the first half of this year.
According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute, aerospace exports accounted for the lion’s share of total high-tech product exports and recorded $1.4 billion in exports out of the country’s total $4.1 billion in this sector.
Pharmaceutical and herbal products exports came in second place with $1.2 billion in exports, followed by instruments and devices for measurement, testing and control purposes with $547 million.
According to data from the country’s Exporters Assembly, Turkey’s exports increased by 2 percent in the first half of this year compared to the same period of the previous year, recording $125.4 billion.
