Turkey’s aselsan signs $42 million export deal

Turkish defense company aselsan announced that it has signed a $42 million export deal with a Middle East customer.

aselsan published a statement on Monday regarding the agreement on the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) website.

The statement read: “An export agreement was signed between aselsan and one of its customers in the Middle East regarding the direct sale of useful payloads for air vehicles with a total value of $42 million.”

The company did not disclose the party with which it signed the contract.

aselsan was established in 1975 on the initiative of the Turkish Armed Forces Strengthening Foundation to meet the needs of the Turkish army in the field of communications equipment, and is known for manufacturing electronic systems and devices for military purposes.

aselsan is one of the leading Turkish companies in the design, production and installation of communication tools and systems between land, air and naval forces according to military standards.
