Turkish Minister of Treasury and Finance Noureddine Nabatai said that the unemployment rate in the first quarter of 2023 fell to single digits for the first time since 2018.
And he made it clear, through his Twitter account, on Wednesday, that the unemployment rate in the first quarter of this year decreased to 9.9 percent, stressing that the economy continues its strong performance with the new model.

Minister Nabatai stated that the Turkish economy continues to provide new job opportunities and records a steady increase in employment.
He pointed out that the total employment during the first quarter increased by 195 thousand to 31.6 million people, compared to the previous quarter.
