Exports of the textile sector and its raw materials in Turkey achieved revenues of one billion and 538 million dollars in the first two months of this year.
This came according to recent data from the Turkish Exporters Council on Saturday.
The data showed that the sector’s export revenues during January and February 2023 amounted to $1.538 billion.
Istanbul’s share of exports in the two months amounted to 677 million, Bursa 210 million, and Gaziantep 209 million dollars.

Italy topped the list of importing countries, followed by Belarus and Russia.
Over the past two months, the country’s textile exports have reached 174 countries and regions around the world.
