According to a statement by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the first 8 months of the year witnessed an increase in the number of tourists by 7.11 percent compared to the same period last year.
Russian tourists came in first place with 4 million, 550 thousand, and 588, followed by Germans with 4 million, 385 thousand, and 331, while the British followed them with 3 million, 102 thousand, and 412.
August recorded an increase in the number of tourists by 2.47 percent compared to the same month last year, reaching 6 million, 825 thousand, and 403.
Russian tourists came in first place in August, followed by Germans, then British, followed by Iranians and Poles.
