Turkey’s exports in local currency grew by 109 percent last August, compared to the same month of 2021.

According to data from the Ministry of Commerce on Saturday, the total value of exports in Turkish currency amounted to 10 billion and 382 million liras (one dollar equals 18.20 liras) during August.
The volume of foreign trade in Turkish lira last August amounted to 34 billion and 177 million liras.
It is noteworthy that the total August exports recorded an increase of 13 percent compared to the same month in 2021 to reach $21.3 billion.

She explained that the value of Turkish exports during the first eight months of this year amounted to 165.5 billion dollars.
