The protesters carried Turkish and Palestinian flags, and chanted slogans condemning the Israeli aggression against Palestinian civilians.

In the city of Izmir, the demonstrators met in the “Konak” region in response to the call of associations, including the “Anatolian Youth Association”.

On behalf of the demonstrators, the head of the association, Arhan Kaya, read a statement indicating that the Israeli aggression had resulted in the death of dozens of Palestinians.

He pointed out that the United States and European countries stand by Israel in its aggression against the Palestinians.

And at dawn on Friday, a ceasefire came into effect between the Palestinian factions and Israel, 11 days after the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
