
The Turkish and Azerbaijani armed forces continue their joint military exercises “Mustafa Kemal Ataturk 2021” in Azerbaijan.

The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in a statement on Friday that the main objective of the exercises is to strengthen the interaction between the armies of the two countries during combat operations and to improve the decision-making and management skills of commanders.
The statement indicated that the forces participating in the maneuvers, which started on Monday, carried out a variety of exercises, including penetrating booby-trapped defensive lines and launching an attack on an assumed enemy.
He pointed to the participation of 600 soldiers, about 40 tanks and armored vehicles, about 20 cannons, 7 helicopters, and 50 military vehicles.
